A warm, intimate community built on family values — and the strength of Michigan senior living experience.
Lady Fletcher, Executive Director, introduces Pineview Cottage in her own words.
Pineview Cottage opened in Harbor Springs in 2018 as northern Michigan's newest assisted living and memory care community — built around a simple idea: that senior care should feel like family caring for family, not a facility caring for a resident.
Every resident is known personally, cared for in a cottage-style, home-like setting between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, with a team that treats daily life here as more than a routine to manage.
Pineview Cottage is a warm, intimate assisted living and memory care community supported by the strength and long-term commitment of Synergy Senior Living, a Michigan-owned organization led by the Rivette family.
Our caregivers, nurses, and on-site leadership are local. Our ownership is Michigan-based. Our commitment is to Northern Michigan families.
"When families place their trust in you, earning that trust becomes your responsibility every single day."
"Having a place to go—is a home. Having someone to love—is a family."
Doing right by residents and families, so every family has peace of mind.
Holding ourselves to a high standard of care, every suite, every shift.
A trained care team working together, and with families, toward one goal.
Treating this community, and the trust families place in us, as something to protect.
An owner-supported community built on the idea that we're caring for our own family too.
Personalized, attentive care plans for every resident, Assisted Living and Memory Care alike.
Hands-on leadership, plus a trained care team who know every resident by name.
Lady Fletcher brings decades of leadership in innovative memory care to Pineview Cottage. Her approach is often described as radical — radical love, radical joy, and radical hope — a philosophy built on entering a resident's world rather than asking them to live in ours. She helped design Pineview Cottage's Life Skill Stations and therapeutic environment around that same belief: that people living with memory loss have as much to teach us as they need from our care.
